a new Bay Area resource for traditional Classical Indian Music and world music influenced by Eastern music and culture.

Primary emphasis of this website is to bring you information for local music around the bay area and west coast, focusing on and around the original music. We will soon bring you links to find music on CD, including classics from the Late Great Masters like
Amir Khan, Allaudin Khan, Alla Rakha, Vilayat Khan, - and more.

Ragatala is happy to be able to work with nosweatshops.org and Bansuri.net to bring music to your ears from aspiring artists in the cities and villages of India. We are working toward channeling a source for them to share their music and support their passion. Your help will be integral in bringing this into being. We are just in the startup phases of an ever-growing project, and only have an upward direction to go from here.
